It was almost 40 years ago, when Melvin "Smokehouse" Moore was traveling the Country promoting his than new hit song,I've Been Watching You", with the R&RB/Soul & Funk Group called,"The South Side Movement," that haled out of the Windy City of Chicago, Illinois. The song,"Ive Been Watching You," spent several weeks on the Top-40 Soul Charts. Melvin "Smokehouse" Moore now makes his home in Marrianna, Florida and works frequently in and around the area doing shows, concerts and making public appearances performing his solo act that include a wide variety of R&B/Soul sounds, Melvin "Smokehouse" Moore can also be heard on Marianna's local Radio Station WTOT-FM 101.7 where he works as a Blues/Soul DJ .
