Stafford, Virginia singer-songwriter Kevin Wheeler releases a new single, “Be Careful What You're Looking For,” on June 19th, 2018 via all digital partners. The emotionally jumping delta blues was written and produced by Dwight L. Quinn.

“’Be Careful What You're Looking For’ started out as a delta blues song about something completely different than what it is now. It was originally written from a fragile place of infidelity and the sudden realization that two can play the same game, so the song started to become ‘Be Careful What You're Looking For’. But as we carried on writing, we realised how every relationship has difficult times but you stick with it because the love you fundamentally feel for the other person overrides everything else,” says Kevin. “this song was written to say think first before you do something that would hurt those special people who make our lives better, because whats good for the goose is- good for the gander,too..”
“Be Careful What You're Looking For” follows on the heels of Kevin’s two previous singles, his hit covered song "The Soul of A Man,” which has over 2 million streams worldwide, and his popular dance cut “I Got My Swag On,” which became a global sensation. It was the best-selling U.S. single of 2016 by a Breakout solo artist and was QRTM's Best Single. “I Got My Swag On” quickly charted in over 14 countries on Spotify, peaking at No. 1 on the Viral chart in three countries, including the U.S. The song has 1 million streams worldwide. The song also charted at No. 1 on iTunes. It hit #2 on Quinn Records top-10 song chart, was among the most-downloaded song of the summer, and fastly ranking as one of the most-played songs of 2018 at U.S. Soul/Blues radio.
Kevin working on his first U.S. headlining tour earlier this year expecting sold-out shows across the country. Kevin is also featured on Go Slow Blues Crossing album’s track “Lets Go Party,” which is out now.
