WHAT ARE WE DOING?
-Well we have completed our eighty-six day promotion for our New Release Go Slow Blues Crossing, we've had a good run with our Radio friends, at least some of them. I've learn in these fun years that I have enjoyed, is that you can't please everyone,but we most definitely is going to please someone, that's the foundation that I build on.
But overall I believe that we've done a fantastic job and of course, did we screw up any, yes we did, that's how I'm able to grade the Promotion,"Fantastic" identifying and making on the spot correction to those thing that went wrong or wasn't apart of our original Promo Plan. We're getting very positive feedback and some thumbs up reports from the Blues Stations that are pleasing and increasing their Listeners with GO SLOW-Blues Crossing.
It took quite a bit energy for us to pull off a Special Project (Compilation) like GO SLOW-Blues Crossing! when it came to trying to get the sound just right, as it pertains to our,slogan "where the sound of blues,gospel,jazz and soul music made," I don't view Quinn as an extension to the company's Genre, but as an Expansion of the Genre, staying as close to the Original sound as our talented Artists would allow for us to do. And that is where the selecting,listening and artist matching became overwhelming in an attempt to get that True-to-the Blues flow throughout the Album from track#1 to track#10. After some long tedious hours and days, we pulled it off,but not without help of our new family member James Gilbert who had the honorary job of opening the Album up,with his powerful cover tune,"Rainy Night In Georgia and again a short distant down the Album at track # 3 here James slows the Album down again with a real deep down urban blues cut,titled "Blues In The Morning", James with his rich baritone vocals and the right-on sounds of the Big Woody Band out KC, nailed this original cut written by Eugene Smiley. "Blues In The Morning, hit # 12 on the APD Global Radio Indicator Charts Top Singles in sixth Week of Promotion. Mississippi Red's "Send Me Someone To Love,made it in ADP's Top 100 Single while the entire GO SLOW-Blues Crossing Album has held down various mid-lever spots on APD Global Radio Indicator Charts Top 50 Blues Album all through the Promotion and is still among the APD's Top 50 Blues Album as of this writings.When you get right into the heart of the Blues,you can't complete the Circle of Blues without the Texas Blues sound so I invited National Known CDS Recording Artist Carl Marshall as our Special Guest Artist on GO SLOW-Blues Crossing and we got just what we bargained for, a Big Texas Blues sound not since Peacock Records has Texas Blues sounded so good. Carl put the Album in Blues-Jam session with my favorite, I Got The Blues Trying To Find Love,pt.1 and pt.2 Carl "Rocks". Other hot-rock Blues Artists includes Osee Anderson,"The Sheriff of The Blues", Bebop Blues Artist Oliver Johnson and the guy that all to emulate, the late great "Blues Man," Lil Aaron Mosby.

It's has been almost nine (9) years since KL&R2's first debut R&B single,"Can You Get Away,"
