We’re
pleased to announce new music from our innovative soul-blues Artists, in a
compilation GO SLOW-Blues Crossing! We’ll be releasing
the album in digital singles – the two tracks will be released on Tuesday,
April 9, with add-on singles introduced each month through late spring.
The
Compilation begins with two songs from our newest release, Keep On Keeping On
by artist James Gilbert “Rainy Night
In Georgia,” an smooth-mellow blues-cover written by Tony
Joe White and made famous by the late Brook Benton, and “Blues In The Morning,” an original
sultry slow blues groove written by Eugene Smiley that moves through a soulful
Little Milton Campbell rhythm to a slow-heart felt moan of neediest. The
collection features Special Guest Soul & Blues recording Artist, Carl
Marshall who added that high-spirited soul jamming session that was commonly used by
the earlier Blues and Jazz Bands of the past everybody got to do their own
thing in, I Got the Blues Trying to Find Love, part 1 & 2. This collection
wouldn’t be complete with out the ever-popular Blues Man the late Lil Aaron
Mosby who certify the collection as the Blues with his versions of Jimmy Reeds,
You Don’t Have To Go and Little Walter’s ,Last Night, with Lil Aaron you get
the real sound of blues of the mid 50’s and early 60’s. When you add the new Torch-carries of
the blues like, Oliver Johnson, Melvin “Smokehouse” Moore , Mississippi
Red and Chicago own Osee Anderson you really got to take heed and GO SLOW-Blues
Crossing. At the conclusion of the series the entire GO
SLOW-Blues Crossing collection will be available for purchase in
digital album and Compact Disc format, as well as individual tracks.
