Come October 21,2012 it will mark 41 years for Quinn Records TM,how we lasted so long your guess is about as good as mine. But, I and the people who helped shape and formed this business never worried about the storms and the rough seas,so we just sailed on. And, every time that I got a little sea-sick from the storms, I think about the one's who helped in this struggle but had to go home early to be with Lord,and left me here to keep the fire going. QRTM, though,a small company in size, made me even more committed in what we do and how we do it,we never was much concern about what was going on from out side influences. Being creative,trying new things,taken chances,trail-blazing has always been our stronger suit.And when you talk of changes,well we have never saw a day,ever where there wasn't any changes taken place in the industry,we grew on changes and we will continue to see and use changes as a bridge to be used to cross over to get to growth. I want send my THANKS out to all of our customers,radio,media and music professional all around World who's been buying,playing, promoting,using our music and supporting us since 1971. The one thing that I got out of this whole ride, is that things on this Planet, have to grow and that process takes time,you have to nurture and be nurtured to become a master of your trade.-GO SLOW-Blues Crossing!

WHEN I GROW UP!

WHEN I GROW UP! It's amazing,when I was a teenager around about twelve or thirteen years old, and growing up in East St. Louis, my friends and I use to go and sit on the Street curb directly across the street in front of this a little small neighborhood Juke Joint called Hosie Gines,named after the than owner. The Little Juke Joint was on the corner of 6th Street & Trendley Avenue and me and my lil friends would sit on that Street corner and just listen to this blues guy,named LiL Aaron Mosby, he would just be rocking the hell out of this little fribble place.Back ,in the day,entertainer guys like LiL Aaron had loud powerful singing voices, because they had to be able to sing over the loud noise that the people was making in the Joint,these people will be having a time of their lives,dancing,drinking,singing,talking and you can always put your money on it, that a fight will soon break out,but that didn't matter, LIL Aaron and his Band would keep on playing never missing a note nor a beat, him and his Jumping Blues Band would just keep on rocking and never stopping. That's the way that they did things back then.I would sit there and day dream of one day having my own Rocking Band like LiL Aaron's Jumping Blues Band when I grow up...GO SLOW-Blues Crossing!
