Lil Aaron Remembers,The Last Employee,(QR001101-1) was one of Lil Aaron's most important project while signed to the Quinn Records TM label. The Album was commorating over 45 years of working both as a BandLeader and Sideman for some of the most legendary Blues and Rock N' Roll figures in the business.As a self-taught bass player, Lil Aaron worked as a sideman in Bands like, Albert Blues Boy King,Chuck Berry,Sonny Boy Williamson,Howling Wolf, and later taken on his on Band in the late sixties. LiL Aaron had one huge hit record titled "Going To East St.Louis", in 1960 and was later covered by his former drummer,Bobo Davis. Sweet Home Chicago almost didn't make the Album because other Label owners and producers counsel the fact that this song for years was widely covered,but LiL Aaron taught it was important for him to do the track and his instinct paid off, the track it turned out to be the driving song that pushed the Album "LiL Aaron Remembers a looming heights in the U.S. and Canada then later reaching International acclaim. And most recently on January 12,2012 as reported in The St.Louis American Newspaper,Oliver received recognition from the World famous Poet Quincy Troupe Thanks St. Louis Friends in his new collection,"Erancities". PROMO TRACK# 1224-1: NEW RELEASE: This got to be one of our most ambicious projects at the Quinn Records TM Company. KL&R2 is what call a Multi-talent and Multi-Genre in practice,meaning they may be doing R&B in one breath and Hip Hop in another. Kl had been wanting to do a R&B/Soul project for some time now, so we decided on this song, that we thought turn out to be a great club and dance tune,of which it did and still growing. The CD/SP has three(3) on it and was all created for this project, songs like, That Lady and a remix on Lied For The First Time all makes for good listening.
